If you are a hotel owner at Mall Road Nainital you don't care about anything. Plus if you rooms facing the lake then the hoteliers think they are the king of the world. Checked in with purpose of night stay only. Got lake facing room at 2800 with breakfast. Small and old rooms. Breakfast was Limited but good. No parking. No assistance to get and send the luggage to parking.

Excellent service. The view is beautiful from the hotel . It was our first visit at Nainital however the hotel was the best choice pertaining the view and the hospitality. The staff was attentive and really polite . Breakfast was good . We extended our stay for one more night and on the day of checkout, we opted for local run from hotel car and they took us to many places for sightseeing like Mansa devi , Tiffin top , Himalayan view , Lake top view , Cave garden and many more . They even arranged the bus tickets for us. Overall the experience was nice , would definitely like to come back again and stay.

Mr. Rohit from hotel helped with all the bookings and made sure our Nanital trip should go well. Location was awesome. Beautiful lake view from hotel room. Room service was great and quality food was served.

I stayed for 2 nights, and here is my detailed experience. Location: The hotel's location is fantastic. It's located on Mall Road, providing breathtaking views of Naini Lake, it’s a kind of mid way for both nainital zoo’s shuttle service and tibet market. Service: The staff at Hotel Shivraj was exceptionally courteous and attentive. From the front desk to the restaurant staff, everyone was polite and ready to assist. Rooms: The room we stayed in was little small, there were no cupboards, the bedsheets were smelly, which later on got changed after complaint, so overall i was satisfied. It offered a stunning view of the Naini Lake, which added to the charm of our stay. Food: We tried breakfast since it was included in our package, it was neither good nor bad. Day 1: we were offered tea, bread, butter, jam, vermicelli, aalo paratha and curd. Day 2: bread, butter, jam, macroni, aalo puri and tea. Amenities: The Wi-Fi connectivity was reliable throughout the property. Complaints: - Cleanliness improvement - Room furnishings - They charged for water bottle which should be provided free of cost. - They close the room’s telephone extension line after 11-12PM midnight, so if anyone face any issue, you have to go down and sort it out.

Extremely helpful and courteous staff. They helped me in a proper way while I wanted to cancel my booking in July and needed a refund. I would always prefer this hotel whenever I visit Nainital and also recommend to my connections.

Rooms are very small. There is no closet to keep your clothes. So if you have too much luggage, these rooms are no good. Hotel food quality is worst. No room cleaning service. Also the balcony is common so people from the first and second …

Rooms size is bigger facilities in room is best but bathroom drainage system was wrost all appliances work properly. View form room and outer space too amazing of mall road and lake food and services was ok but quit experience as like hotel's room rent. I suggest you this hotel for stay if your budget is high.

This hotel is situated on Mall road and have lake view rooms. They have heater facility which is chargeable. They don't have lift facility as well as no parking facility is there. Food was good though the variety is not their for breakfast but taste was good. Rooms were ok ok not very hygienic. This property is near the market place as well as nainital lake.
